Miss Fabulous Task 4:

Ambercoolgirl is the owner of a very good club called CoolBabeClub. As a favour I joined one and joined in with the competition Miss Fabulous. Task after task came my way and I soured through them with great delight. All the tasks were challenging but possible and I think everyone enjoyed completing the tasks. Although Miss AmberCoolGirl gave everyone a lot of time to accomplish their 'mission', she is still very firm and will make sure that when she says time is up, nobody else can do anything else.

How to make Brown Nerd Glasses Flattering...


As a part of a competition, set by Bracken1234, I had 
to wear some glasses and choose a hairstyle (pretending that I was modelling for a glasses campaign)  - entirely of my choice. This was indeed quite a hard task.I only had one pair of glasses but they were much too 'Elton John' so I decided to go out and buy some new ones. Usually I love shopping but shopping for glasses is a completely different story. You see, as we were given the choice, I could chose from Sunglasses, Nerd Glasses, Lady Ga Ga Glasses. 


The easiest and most stylish choice would have been the Ga Ga Glasses as there is so much you could do with them. But man do I like a challenge, so I went with the Nerd Glasses, brown ones to be precise. 


The Hairstyle...

Getting the hairstyle right is crucial, it could gain many more points than when leaving it out and not bothering at all. I decided that because my glasses were very big and chunky I had to have a hairstyle that didn't have a full fringe, in worry of covering the hair - with the glasses and covering the glasses - with the hair. A side fringe can benefit greatly and hides just behind the glasses a tad, helping to fulfil the realistic style you're trying to create. Side fringe it is then. Now I decided I wanted a little bit of hair  dangling beside the glasses but not too much, that meant I didn't want my hair down. Now I had a limited choice and narrowed it down to just two hairstyles. I suddenly realised that one of the hairstyles was very plain, going against everything I've ever said; 'Attention to detail my dear, attention to detail'. This hair-do is beautiful and has a fantastic little braided bit of hair sweeping across the fringe. You can't get more detail than that!

The Makeup

If you are going for very nerdy glasses, you're going to want some pretty eye make up to go along with it. This will help distract people from the chunky brown frame of the eye accessories. Now, some people would use a brown mascara, brown eye shadow and brown eye liner to match the glasses. I figured that I've used enough of BROWN already (See picture above for confirmation) and so I went for the very plain but effective black. 

I also used black on the eyebrows to - again - divert people's eyes from the brown and glasses. 

I hope now that people can see, no pun intended, that having ugly glasses doesn't mean you need to give up hope, it just means you need to use the rest of your look to support and show how beautiful you can be and are.
